Audit Senior
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Audit Senior to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience managing portions of audit engagements from planning through completion, supervising junior staff, and working directly with clients. This role offers significant exposure to a variety of industries and the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to a supportive and entrepreneurial firm environment.
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead audit fieldwork, including planning, testing, and reporting, under the direction of audit managers and partners
- Supervise and mentor junior staff and interns, providing guidance, feedback, and performance evaluations
- Review financial statements, workpapers, and audit documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with professional standards
- Communicate directly with clients to address questions, gather information, and provide updates throughout engagements
- Identify and document audit issues and control weaknesses, offering recommendations for improvements
- Assist with the development of audit strategies and engagement plans
- Stay up-to-date on relevant accounting, auditing, and regulatory developments
- Support a variety of clients including small businesses, nonprofit organizations, and privately held companies
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting preferred
- CPA license or active pursuit of CPA certification required
- 2+ years of Public Accounting experience, with a focus on audit engagements
Additional Skills
- Knowledge of Audit software and MS Office
- Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and GAAS
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Process-oriented with strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Proficiency with audit and accounting software
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team

$75,000 -90,000 Annually
