Catching Up with “Business as Usual”
Well, another tax season has come and gone. The early mornings and late nights, energy drinks and adrenaline rushes, countless phone calls and Zoom meetings – in other words, business as usual for Weiss in the spring.
Of course, after the pandemic-driven pandemonium of the past two years, “business as usual” is the most welcome change any of us could ask for. Not that Weiss hasn’t undergone some other welcome changes. In fact, there have been quite a few.
For one, 2022 marks the first tax season since our merger with Willow CPA Group, Ltd., whose clients we’re happy to welcome and even happier to serve.
It’s also the first for several new staffers – four accountants, three interns, and our first-ever talent and acquisitions manager, Kari Thompson – as well as our relocation of our Arlington Heights office to Buffalo Grove.
Finally, we successfully incorporated the SafeSend Return software into our platform this year and enjoyed a successful rollout, thanks to Keith White and his team.
And that’s just a sampling of the many ways we’re working to make things better for everyone: our staff, our vendors, and of course, our clients. With that in mind, I’d like to extend my personal appreciation to all of you and give a shout-out to our team for stepping up and making the 2022 tax season such a resounding success. Service above and beyond – for Weiss, that’s just business as usual.
