Celebrating International Women’s Day 2025

Did you know that International Women’s Day has been recognized and celebrated for more than 100 years? It started as a way to recognize and advocate for equal rights in the labor force. The United Nations officially started observing the occasion 50 years ago in 1975. This year’s celebration is set for this Saturday, March 8th.

It’s a particularly meaningful occasion here at Weiss. Women make up over 55% of our professional team and occupy key leadership positions at every level. And to me, they bear an even greater share of responsibility for the characteristics that make our firm unique – the collegiality and open-door atmosphere, the family-friendly policies we maintain, and the healthy balance we strive for between work and leisure.

That’s what makes Weiss such a great place to work, year in and year out – something to remember as we celebrate International Women’s Day 2025.
