Chris Bozarth Earns Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) Credential

Chris Bozarth, accounting services partner who leads Weiss & Company LLP’s Client Accounting Services Department, has earned the Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) designation from the National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts (NACVA).

The CVA designation is granted to those who undergo intensive training and pass an exam testing both theory and application in the field of private company business valuation. Bozarth’s achievement bolsters Weiss’s business valuation practice, which has helped businesses of all sizes for decades.

“I’ve been part of the business valuation team at Weiss for more than ten years, and I look forward to providing more leadership in this area as our practice continues to grow,” Bozarth said. “More than ever, businesses need guidance in valuing their businesses.”

Bozarth has more than 20 years of accounting, auditing and consulting experience in industries such as distribution, manufacturing, entertainment, construction, not-for-profit, restaurants, advertising, healthcare, and professional service firms. In addition to business valuations, he also oversees the employee benefit plan audit practice of the firm. He has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Western Michigan University and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Illinois CPA Society.
