Valincia is an audit supervisor in the firm’s audit & assurance department. She grew up in Chicago and attended Southern Illinois University in Carbondale where she received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accounting. After graduation, she immediately started working at a Big 4 accounting firm as an auditor, where she led complex, multi-component financial statement audits for high profile clients in higher education, research and the non-profit sector. Valincia is also currently studying for the CPA exam.
In her spare time, she enjoys traveling with her son, giving back to the community through volunteer projects with her sorority, Delta Sigma Theta, and going on roller coasters every chance she gets.
